After an entertaining regular season and finals series, just two teams remain in the NRL who will battle it out for the right to be crowned premiership winners on Sunday.

Accor Stadium will once again host the clash which is headed for a sell-out.

Who is playing in the NRL grand final? Penrith Panthers and Brisbane Broncos to face off in decider

The two best teams all season will face off on Sunday night in the NRL grand final with Penrith Panthers looking to win their third premiership in a row, while the Brisbane Broncos stand in their way as they strive for their first title since 2006.

Brisbane picked up the wooden spoon just three years ago but since that historic low point, Kevin Walters has managed to turn them around to where the young side will be confident heading into the showpiece event having already taken the scalp of the Panthers earlier in the year.

Penrith have swept their way to their fourth successive grand final after making light work of the New Zealand Warriors and Melbourne Storm this finals series.

Brisbane have performed to a similar level after smashing the Storm and scoring seven tries against the Warriors in their preliminary final.

The star-studded meeting between the sides who finished in 1st and 2nd spot on the ladder promises to be an absolute blockbuster.

Nathan Cleary has hit his best form during the business end of the season to guide the Panthers into the decider where they will be looking to make history, while Reece Walsh has continued his sparkling year with a number of eye-catching displays in September.
