The NRL grand final for 2024 is finally here, with Melbourne and Penrith set to battle it out for the game's biggest prize.
It's a rematch of the 2020 Grand Final, which Melbourne won, but Penrith have won a three peat since then and also ended Melbourne's season twice.
It is set to be a ripper of a match between two evenly matched teams, and there is a good chance it will go the distance.

- Date: Sunday, October 6
- Time: 7:30 p.m. AEDT (6:30 p.m. AEST)
Match-day coverage will begin on Channel 9 at 7:00 am AEDT, with coverage from the ground then beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the state championship match; the NRLW grand final is set to take place during the afternoon.

What time will the NRL Grand Final finish tonight?
Factoring in the kick-off time, two 40-minute halves, a 10-minute half-time break and various stoppages, tonight's clash between Melbourne and Penrith could finish around 9:20 pm AEDT.
This is assuming we have a result after 80 minutes, though.
If the match is drawn and extends into 10 minutes of extra time, it likely won't wrap up until 9:35 pm AEDT.
