Week 2 of the NRL finals is upon us, with the Melbourne Storm welcoming the Sydney Roosters to the Victorian capital on Friday night.

Craig Bellamy's side will need to regather after being dominated by the Brisbane Broncos in their qualifying final, with injuries to Ryan Papenhuyzen and Xavier Coates rubbing salt into the wound.

The Roosters are not without their own casualty ward struggles either, with Joey Manu, Billy Smith and Joseph Suaalii confirmed to miss this do-or-die clash.

Can the Tricolours grind out a win like they did against the Cronulla Sharks, or will the Storm's post-season experience prove too much?

The Sporting News has all the details on the Storm vs. Roosters semi-final below.
