With the dramatic series opener in the books, attention turns to Game 2 of the 2024 State of Origin series.

Sydney's Accor Stadium played host to Game 1 on Wednesday, June 5, seeing Queensland run out 38-10 winners after Joseph Sua'ali'i was sent off in the eighth minute for a high shot on Reece Walsh.

Up next, the game's greatest rivalry heads to the iconic MCG, with the Blues in desperate need of victory to keep the series alive.

In 2021 and 2022, Game 2 was played as a standalone fixture on the Sunday of an NRL-wide bye.
