In-form New Zealand Warriors centre Adam Pompey has inked a two-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until at least the end of the 2025 NRL season.
The 24-year-old was off-contract at the end of this year and was receiving interest from rival clubs, but has opted to remain in Auckland as part of the rejuvenated outfit under head coach Andrew Webster.
Pompey has played every minute of all 19 games for the Warriors this season, crossing for three tries and producing eight try assists, as well as averaging over 100 run metres each week.
His deal comes just two weeks after Shaun Johnson extended his stay with the Warriors, with the club also set to welcome back Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Chanel Harris-Tavita in 2024.

Adam Pompey re-signs with New Zealand Warriors
In a statement released on Wednesday morning, Webster paid credit to Pompey's improvement on the paddock following the news of his contract extension.
“From a coaching viewpoint we’ve been hugely impressed with the way Adam has gone about his work right from the start of the preseason,” he said.
“He has developed all parts of his game on a game-by-game basis, becoming a much-improved player in all facets and the thing about him is that he still has much more to give.”
Pompey made his NRL debut in 2019 and has become a threat on both sides of the ball, with Warriors general manager of recruitment Andrew McFadden claiming his hard work has paid off with a new deal.
“In his time with the club, Adam has developed steadily and has really emerged this year in what has been the best season of his career so far,” he said.
“He has put in the work and the performances to fully deserve this new deal. It’s a real credit to Adam and how he has developed into an established first grader.”
