Roosters hard-nut Victor Radley has been cleared to play in round four after successfully challenging his dangerous throw charge at the NRL judiciary.

Due to carry-over points, Radley was facing a one-match suspension regardless of how he pleaded, seeing the club take the case to the judiciary and try their luck, via videolink, on Tuesday night.

The young lock was hit with a grade-one charge for a tackle on Souths back Dane Gagai late in the first half of the premiers' 28-12 win over arch-rivals South Sydney.

It looked like a borderline call when the match review report dropped on Saturday and the Roosters successfully argued the case, clearing their man for Thursday's clash with Brisbane.

Somewhat surprisingly, Trent Robinson named an unchanged side from the one that did the business against the Rabbitohs.

Club great Mitchell Aubusson missed the round three clash for personal reasons while star prop Sio Siua Taukeiaho failed a fitness test on his hamstring.

Both men have been named in the extended squad for the match against Brisbane, so there may be some late changes to come.
