Stefano Utoikamanu has undoubtedly established himself as one of the NRL's best young forwards.
The 23-year-old is currently plying his trade for the Wests Tigers, but James Fisher-Harris' upcoming move to the New Zealand Warriors from the Penrith Panthers could spark a player merry-go-round.
Utoikamanu is, understandably, in high demand, but what is his current contract situation?
The Sporting News takes a closer look.

Stefano Utoikamanu NRL contract: Length, agreement with Wests Tigers
Utoikamanu's contract runs until the end of 2025, although the final year is a mutual option deal.
According to Fox Sports, he is allowed to leave the club early if the Tigers fail to make the top eight in 2024.
However, this clause can be voided if he plays two State of Origin matches this year.
Will Stefano Utoikamanu play State of Origin this year?
The Tigers enforcer made his Origin debut for NSW in Game 2 last year and is primed to take one of the prop spots in 2024, with Payne Haas all but guaranteed to take the other jersey.
His club coach Benji Marshall believes he is playing at a very high level this season, and thinks an Origin call-up would be a result of his hard work.
"I think it’s probably been the best footy that he’s played in his career," he said.
"People are talking about him for Origin and that, and he’s earned that through the way that he’s been playing"
Will Stefano Utoikamanu stay at Wests Tigers?
There has been little indication of whether Utoikamanu is seeking to extend his time in Concord.
His decision will likely come down to the progress the team makes this year.
What is clear, however, is that he is highly valued by the Tigers.
"We love Stef, and we’ve made it really clear with him that he’s a big part of our future," club coach Marshall said in April.
"The fact of the matter is that he’s still on contract here next year.
"We all know there are clauses in his contract, but they can’t talk to him until November, so I’m not worried."
Heading into Round 7 of the 2024 season, Wests have picked up two wins and recorded three losses.
Who will replace James Fisher-Harris at Penrith Panthers?
Utoikamanu is already being strongly linked with the reigning premiers and sits atop Penrith’s hit list, per The Age.
Other young props who could fit the bill, such as Brisbane’s Xavier Willison and Canberra’s Trey Mooney, are due to come off contract at the end of the season.
If they opt for experience instead, Newcastle’s Leo Thompson could be available, while veteran Jack de Belin could provide some experience to a young Penrith outfit.
