The whispers just won’t die down that the Tigers want to be free of Josh Reynolds.

But it will cost theM plenty.

The former rep five-eighth is set to collect a staggering $900,000-plus in the final year of his Tigers deal and will dig his heels in.

The Tigers will have to pay at least half his wage if they want to offload him to another club.

THE CIRCUS CONTINUES

Still at Concord, Wests Tigers are officially a club in crisis.

Props Ben Matulino and Russell Packer are on the nose with coach Michael Maguire and Moses Mbye is not exactly the teacher’s pet.

Madge said he is a changed man but the control freak in him is starting to emerge again.

He conducted an internal witch-hunt to find out who was leaking to the media in a bid to stop the negative press.

It didn’t work.

Kyle Flanagan

NOT YET - BUT IT'S NOT A NO

Kyle Flanagan won’t depart the Sharks before June 30 – but his exit is not far off.

The promising half will link with the Roosters in 2020 but Cronulla coach John Morris wants him at the club for the rest of 2019 as cover for Shaun Johnson.

Johnson is a brilliant match winner on his day but also very injury prone.

Flanagan will prove the perfect replacement for Cooper Cronk at the Roosters.

SHANE FLANAGAN NOT RETURNING ANYTIME SOON

Bulldogs fans hoping to see Kyle’s dad Shane in charge of the club next year are set for disappointment.

The NRL will not green light the premiership winner’s return from suspension until at least 2021.

So that means another season of intense pressure on poor old Dean Pay.

WHAT’S KEEPING ME INSIDE THIS WEEKEND

There’s Mitchell Pearce and the Knights attempting to keep the hype train in motion against Melbourne. Cody Walker against Nathan Cleary and James Maloney for the middle game and then the 9th-placed Eels against the 10th-placed Broncos to wrap things up: this may be the best Super Saturday we’ve had in years.

I couldn’t tell you who’s going to come out on top: it’s deadset that close. Avoid the loud know-it-all at the local and catch it all on Kayo. Every game of every round LIVE, with no ad-breaks during play
