Sydney will play host to the NRL Harvey Norman All Stars in 2022, marking the first time the city has hosted the fixture.
The Australian Rugby League Commission confirmed the event will be played at CommBank Stadium next year on Saturday, February 12.
NSW has previously hosted the event when the All Stars was held in Newcastle in 2017, with the state's capital to now welcome the spectacle.
NRL Chief Executive Andrew Abdo said the event will be a boost to the people of Sydney.
“All Stars week is a unique and important part of our rugby league calendar. To be able to celebrate this week in Sydney is an exciting opportunity for players and fans.” Abdo said.
“The event brings communities and cultures together and helps celebrate First Nations people as well as rugby league’s authentic and powerful diversity," he explained.

Earlier this year, over 20,000 fans flocked to Townsville to watch the men's and women's Indigenous and Māori All Stars go face-to-face.
The 2022 edition will see the Indigenous and Māori All Stars play each other in a men's and women's match-up again, with the addition of the Indigenous and Māori touch football teams.
Notably, next year's matches will take place on the lands of the Darug people, which will see Burramattagal players’ Josh Curran and Quincy Dodd have the honour of playing on their native country.
Australian Rugby League Indigenous Council Chair Katrina Fanning believes that NRL All Stars has been pivotal in improving the education and awareness of Indigenous peoples.
“All 10 All Stars contests have educated, improved awareness and overall built bridges between communities," Fanning said.
“It has had an incredibly important impact in regional communities but it has also shown its power in our cities including Brisbane and Melbourne.
"Now Sydney has the chance to experience the life-changing abilities of the All Stars concept," she added.
