A number of Eels players will be on the move this off-season, following a horror season in Parramatta.
One of these departing players is Reagan Campbell-Gillard, the veteran prop released from the final year of his contract after he stated his desire to find a new club.
The list of teams interested in his services had been consistent for some time now, but a surprise contender has recently entered the race.

Gold Coast Titans seek Campbell-Gillard's services
Add the Gold Coast Titans to the teams trying to sign Campbell-Gillard.
The forward is reportedly the type of player Titans' coach Des Hasler likes, and Gold Coast could be willing to offer the longer-term contract Campbell-Gillard is seeking, according to expert Neil Breen.
"2025 was the last year of his deal. He wants to get a deal that takes him forward," Breen told 2GB's Continuous Call Team
"It’s similar to what will end up happening with Ben Hunt. He comes into his last year next year, but if someone else comes at him with a two or three-year deal, it gives him longer in the game.
"That’s what Reagan Campbell-Gillard wanted. He rejected the St George-Illawarra Dragons... but the team most likely, and there’s nothing official yet, is the Gold Coast Titans.
"He’s the sort of player Des [Hasler] likes, Des likes old school forwards."
The Titans struggled mightily in the 2024 season, finishing in 14th, and an infusion of veteran talent could be what they need to freshen things up.
