State of Origin 2024 weather report: Rain forecast, conditions for Game 3 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane image

Queensland will attempt to win their third straight State of Origin series when they host New South Wales in Game III tonight.

The Blues levelled the series with a thumping win at the MCG last month after previously slipping to a comprehensive defeat to the Maroons on home soil in the opening match.

Billy Slater’s side will now be looking to bounce back and lift the shield in front of their fans at Suncorp Stadium.

State of Origin 2024: Rain forecast, conditions for Game 3 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane

It’s expected to be dry conditions for the decider in Queensland when Michael Maguire attempts to stop the Maroons and win an Origin series at the first time of asking.

Winds of up to 20 km/h are forecast for the evening, while it is also expected to be partly cloudy with just a five per cent chance of rain throughout the day.

Min: 9 degrees

Chance of rain: 5 per cent

When does State of Origin Game 3 kick-off?

The third and final game of the series will start at 8.05pm AEST on Wednesday, July 17.
