State of Origin all-time record
Though it has been a bitter rivalry since its inception, Queensland have enjoyed more success than their southern rivals, in large part thanks to their historic eight series wins in a row from 2006 to 2013.
Overall, the all-time State of Origin record is 70-60-2 in favour of Queensland after the final match of the 2024 series.
The Maroons also hold the total series lead, winning 24 of the 43 total, the Blues having claimed 17, and two ending in draws.
When was the last time NSW won State of Origin?
Before their 2024 success, New South Wales last hoisted the State of Origin trophy in 2021.
Queensland enjoyed back-to-back triumphs in 2022 and 2023.
The Blues also won back-to-back in 2019 and 2018, and in 2014 to break Queensland's streak, although the Maroons have dominated the past two decades.
