The Cronulla Sharks are on the brink of history, just one win away from their second grand final of the NRL era.
The 2016 premiership is the lone piece of hardware gracing the Cronulla trophy cabinet, but Nicho Hynes and his men are eager to return the club to glory once more.
But with a crucial preliminary finals clash against the three-time reigning premiers Penrith in the way, Cronulla are sweating on the health of one of their key contributors.

Sharks sweat Ramien's health as finals clash looms
The Sharks will have to hold their breath that key centre Jesse Ramien is fit to play against Penrith, with the player facing a fitness test to prove his health ahead of their match with Penrith.
Ramien is dealing with an ongoing ankle injury; he was forced to sit in Cronulla's first finals game against Melbourne, and while he returned to help down the Cowboys, but was later seen walking with a moonboot, casting doubt over his status for the prelim.
If Ramien does not play, Siosifa Talakai will once again get the call-up, leaving Craig Fitzgibbon to decide whether or not to promote Daniel Atkinson to the bench.
This is a bad sign for Cronulla, who are also hoping Kayal Iro is able to overcome a bicep strain in time for Saturday's game.
