Rugby league legend Bobby Dimond has passed away, aged 90.
The oldest former Australian player, Dimond passed away on Saturday night.
Born in Dapto in 1930, Dimond played 24 matches for Australia, three games for New South Wales and three games for NSW Country in the late 1940s.
Dimond made his debut for Dapto at the age of just 16, earning representative selection just two years later.

He was the youngest member of the Australian touring squad to Great Britan and France in 1948.
An impressive outside back, Dimond moved to Western Suburbs, scoring 12 tries in 23 appearances between 1950 and 1951.
In 1952, Dimond broke both of his legs in a motorbike accident, forcing him out for two years.
He attempted a comeback at St George in 1954, but the extended time he spent out of the game took its toll.
He retired from the game at the age of just 24.
Bobby is the older brother of Western Suburbs, New South Wales and Australia legend Peter Dimond and the grandfather of former hard-nosed first grade forward Craig Dimond.
