The end-of-season NRL Finals series continues apace in 2024, and we're all set for an inter-city Sydney derby to close out the second week of play-off action. It's all to play for between the Sydney Roosters and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at one of Rugby League's spiritual homes, with both sides facing the prospect of their campaigns coming to an end in this Semi Final.
While the home side were well beaten by back-to-back premiers Penrith last time out – leaving them just 80 minutes away from elimination – the battle-hardened Roosters will be looking to call on all their Finals experience to get past a Manly side who won a sensational elimination final against the Bulldogs, which proved to be the best match of Week 1 by far.
The Sporting News is on hand to bring you all the latest TV schedule information, live streaming and start times for this NRL Finals match, as two sides with plenty of Premiership-winning experience between them go to battle in a bid to keep both of their Grand Final hopes alive.

Roosters vs. Sea Eagles NRL Semi Final match preview
By the time the Roosters really got going against the Panthers in Week 1, they had already been all-but consigned to a losing Semi Final berth; down 22-0 inside 22 minutes and on their way to a 30-10 defeat to the three-time defending Premiers. Joseph Sua'ali'i and James Tedesco led a mini-revival in the second half, but Penrith still finished strong to round off a comfortable win.
Meanwhile, Manly provided the biggest upset last weekend, triumphing 24-22 over the Bulldogs at the Olympic Stadium despite finishing one rung lower than their Sydney neighbours on the end-of-season ladder.
The Sea Eagles went toe-to-toe with Canterbury in an evenly-matched first half which saw the lead change three times. Despite the Dogs opening up a 10-point buffer early in the second half, Manly rallied through Daly Cherry-Evans' try off the back of a scrum, before Tolu Koula danced and darted his way down the left flank to score a try worthy of winning any match. Reuben Garrick iced the conversion, and the Sea Eagles were through by the skin of their beaks.
