It's one of the most famous names in NRL history, but it looks as if the future of the Fittler family lies in rugby union, not league, after Zach Fittler opted to sign with the NSW Waratahs.
Just 18 years old, the younger Fittler was seen by many as an NRL prodigy and true heir to his father's throne, but the teenager has instead chosen to join the 15-man code.
Despite coming up through the Roosters' development program - the same team that his father captained to a premiership and later coached - Zach had been juggling allegiances to both codes, before coming to an eventual decision to join Super Rugby.

Roosters lose son of NRL legend in cross-code heist
It seemed almost a given that Fittler would follow his father and join the NRL, but the talented teenager has instead chosen the rival code, one which he has played throughout his youth for Scots College first XV and both the Waratahs and Australian under-16 sides.
While he will not immediately join the first team, Fittler will ply his trade with the academy side, and will also be in strong contention for a spot on the Junior Wallabies squad (U20) in 2025.
"At the end of the day, my son enjoys playing both. I try to just stay a fan and it can be tricky as a parent," Brad Fittler said.
"Both codes are on offer there for him, but I stay out of telling him anything, really.
"I find he doesn’t listen to me anyway. I am just happy he is out enjoying himself."
