The NRL is reportedly investigating star Broncos duo Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam over an alleged incident in Bali.
The Sydney Morning Herald and Daily Telegraph say the incident involved a broken mobile phone after a fan allegedly tried to get a photo with them whilst the pair were on an end of season holiday.
According to reports, the pair spent the day drinking with a group of Australians from the Sutherland Shire region of Sydney, where it is said a member of the group was filming and photographing Walsh throughout the day.
It is alleged Mam attempted to take the phone off the individual, and in the process the phone was dropped and subsequently lost.
The father of the owners phone then emailed a complaint to the NRL, stating unless the phone that had been allegedly lost and damaged was replaced, the incident would be taken to the media.
Mam has paid for a replacement phone since the incident took place.
It capped off a dramatic day for the Brisbane Broncos, who parted ways with coach Kevin Walters after a poor season where they failed to make the finals, though official statements from club and coach says it was Walters' decision to step aside.
The NRL Integrity Unit has been informed of the incident and investigating it.
