It could be a rough review for Peta Hiku this week.

The Warriors centre attracted plenty of criticism for a pair of limp efforts as Penrith ran riot at Panthers Stadium on Friday night.

Waqa Blake crossed for the home side's third try to open up a 16-0 lead, thanks in part to Hiku's accomodating defence.

It was Hiku who missed a tackle on Villiame Kikau to allow his fomer club to make a line break.

He then made a fairly casual chase as Tyrone Phillips and Blake combined to cross the stripe.

Commentators and viewers didn't miss the effort, which left plenty to be desired.

"You see in the background there, Peta Hiku almost gave up on the play," Michael Ennis said on Fox League's coverage.

"Very disappointing effort from the Warriors three quarter.

"It's Kikau that goes straight through him, it's a lazy attempt."

Warriors coach Stephen Kearney obviously had a similar thought, hooking the back after 65 minutes.

The moment was just one of many in a horror night for the Warriors as they slipped to a demoralising 36-4 loss, with a Ken Maumalo try five minutes from time the only highlight for the visitors..
