Penrith Panthers vs Manly Sea Eagles: Dylan Walker carried off with apparent knee injury image

What is going on at the Manly Sea Eagles?

Their 2018 season, if it continues on this downward spiral, will go down as one of the unluckiest yet.

Of course, some of their unhappiness is no one else's fault but their own, salary cap issues come to mind.

But on Saturday afternoon at Panthers Stadium, Sea Eagles fans couldn't be blamed for looking up into the sky and asking, 'why?'

Dylan Walker, who returned last week in the loss against the St George-Illawarra Dragons after missing four matches with a broken eye socket, was carried off early on in the second half against Penrith with an apparent leg injury.

Watch the incident in the video below.

Walker is no stranger to leg injuries, with Manly's star back suffering a broken leg and fractured ankle while playing for the Prime Minister's XIII at the end of the 2017 season.

The match against the Panthers was riddled with errors, with constant ball dropping spoiling a perfect afternoon for rugby league.

Commentators were astounded that no medicab was available at the ground.

Despite Walker's injury, the Sea Eagles had built an eight-point lead with less than ten minutes in the fixture.
