The Panthers are in a fifth straight Grand Final, and will be looking to make it four premierships in a row when they come up against the Melbourne Storm.
It is Penrith's eighth Grand Final, with their first coming back in 1990, and the seven previous matches have seen them walk out in their famous black jersey.
That won't be the case on Sunday, as they will be forced to wear their alternate strip against the minor premiership winning Storm.
In the process, they will make history in the Grand Final for one unique reason.

Why are the Panthers wearing pink in the 2024 NRL Grand Final?
As minor premiers, the Melbourne Storm are the designated home team and as a result earn the right to wear their purple home jersey in the match.
However, this is deemed to be too much of a clash with Penrith's black home jersey, meaning they will be forced to wear an alternate strip in the Grand Final for the first time in their history.
This is because Penrith have either been the designated home team in their previous deciders, or there has not been a jersey clash, allowing them to still wear their home jersey.
With Penrith's alternate jersey being their famous pink jersey, Penrith will be looking pretty in pink on Sunday night.
Has a team ever worn pink in an NRL Grand Final?
As a result, Penrith will be the first ever team to wear a pink jersey in an NRL Grand Final.
Penrith's pink jersey is unique in the NRL, initially being a special one-off jersey as the Panthers supported the McGrath Foundation, but due to its popularity with fans it has now become a regular staple in their jersey rotation.
They have worn it in a finals match once before, and it happened to be against the Melbourne Storm in the 2021 preliminary final.
It was a good luck charm for them as they scored an upset 10-6 win, can it produce the goods for them in the biggest game of the season?
