The Penrith Panthers have created one of the great all-time rugby league dynasties by winning three Grand Finals in a row.
They will be aiming for a fourth on Sunday when they face off against the Melbourne Storm in a mouthwatering clash.
But it hasn't always been like this for the Panthers, with the mountain men experiencing many lean years in their time in the competition.
The Sporting News looks at how many times Penrith have won a premiership in the NSWRL and the NRL.

How many premierships have the Penrith Panthers won?
Penrith's golden run in recent years has seen them more than double their premiership tally, and they now sit with five premierships in their trophy cabinet.
Their record in grand finals is impressive, only losing twice in 1990 to the all-conquering Canberra Raiders, and in 2020 to an experienced Storm side.
They have been unbeatable since then, beating the Rabbitohs in a tight decider in 2021, swatting aside the Eels in 2022, and pulling off the greatest Grand Final comeback against the Broncos last year.
Can they make it a sweet six against the Storm in 2024?
When did the Panthers first win a premiership?
The Panthers had to wait 24 years to win their first Grand Final, and it came off the back of their heartbreaking loss in 1990.
In 1991 at the old Sydney Football Stadium they came up against Canberra once again, but this time it would be Penrith's day as legend Royce Simmons scored two tries, including the clincher, to secure a 19-12 win for Penrith.
It was extra fitting for Simmons, as it was the last match of his career.
A stack of Penrith legends were in that side, including Brad Fittler, Mark Geyer, and Greg Alexander, and their role in helping Penrith break the premiership drought means they remain in club folklore to this day.
When did Penrith last win a premiership?
Penrith are the reigning premiers after their unbelievable comeback over the Broncos in last year's decider.
They dominated much of the first half, but a late try to Tom Flegler meant the score was 8-6 to Penrith at the break.
Then the game seemingly turned on its head in 11 second half minutes as an Ezra Mam hat-trick blew Penrith away.
Just when it seemed the three-peat dream was over, Nathan Cleary put in one of the greatest Grand Final performances of all time, assisting two tries and scoring the winning try with five minutes to go, leading the Panthers to a 26-24 win and earning him his second Clive Churchill Medal.
Who has won the most premierships?
Since rugby league competition began in 1908, South Sydney are the most successful side with 21 premierships, though only one of those have come in the NRL era.
In terms of the NRL, which began in 1997, the Sydney Roosters have won the most premierships with four, followed by the Broncos, Panthers and Melbourne Storm with three each (the Storm had two of their premiership wins stripped due to salary cap breaches).
Of the teams currently in the competition, only three have failed to win a premiership: the New Zealand Warriors, the Gold Coast Titans and The Dolphins.
