Parramatta Eels pivot Jaemon Salmon charged with drink driving image

Young Parramatta five-eighth Jaeman Salmon has been charged with low range drink driving following an accident in October.,

The 19-year-old was tested after his vehicle hit three parked cars before rolling onto its roof in Sydney’s south, according to reports at the time.

Jaeman will face court next month. The NRL Integrity Unit is aware of the charges.


 

“Jaeman has already completed a safe driving course, however, once the legal process has been finalised, the club will take the relevant next steps,” the Eels said in a statement .
 
“In the meantime, the club is working with Jaeman to ensure a clear understanding of road safety matters and that all key lessons have been learned and embedded for future application.
 
“The club will not make any further comment until the legal proceedings are concluded.”
