The NRL season might be over, but that hasn't stopped the Penrith Panthers from clashing with another football team.
This time, it's Ray Price and the 1980s Parramatta Eels, after the legend said that his three peat side would easily take down the now four-time reigning premiers.
Predictably, these comments didn't go without reaction, with a number of Penrith stars taking it upon themselves to defend their squad.

Panthers beef with Eels intensifies as players clap back at NRL legends
Nathan Cleary has become the latest Penrith star to respond to Ray Price's comments - the halfback sharing a graphic of the Eels' legends quote to his Instagram story, alongside a thinking emoji, and the song 'You Wish' by Skepta.
Cleary is not the only one using Instagram to retaliate, with winger Brian To'o also sharing the same graphic, before a clip of Australian cricket icon Kerry O'Keefe laughing hysterically.
But captain Isaah Yeo put it best when adressing the comments at the team's presentation night, simply saying "four is more than three".
After Penrith won their fourth straight title, Price was quick to claim that they were an inferior side to his former squad, telling The Daily Telegraph that he still considers the Eels that won from 1981-83 the greatest.
"Not a hope. They haven't gone past us," Price said.
"I don't think this Penrith side would beat my Parramatta side."
