Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs will resume their storied rivalry on Friday night with plenty on the line despite it being just the third round of the campaign.
Chaos has swirled around the Bunnies all week after Jason Demetriou dropped playmaker Lachlan Ilias off the back of their winless start to the year.
The Rabbitohs were woeful against Brisbane last week and will need to up their levels considerably against Trent Robinson's men who slipped to defeat against Manly in Round 2.
The Roosters will be without veteran five-eighth Luke Keary due to a head knock but have added a host of experience into their side with Connor Watson and Angus Crichton set to make their first NRL appearances of the season.
