We have a full slate of NRL games to enjoy this week, with Origin stars returning to first-grade action.
The Sharks and Dragons will face off in what is expected to be a one-sided local derby, whilst the Storm will host the Panthers in a potential battle for the top spot on the ladder.
Below are The Sporting News’ predictions and best bets for Round 18.

Cronulla Sharks vs. St. George Illawarra Dragons prediction, tip, best bet
The Sharks and Dragons have a recent history of high-scoring encounters - they combined for 48 points earlier this season and racked up 42 and 48 points in their two matches last campaign.
Cronulla should enter this clash refreshed and full of confidence, coming off a bye and a commanding win over the Bulldogs the week prior.
It's a different story for the Dragons though, who are heavy underdogs as they navigate a challenging period both on and off the field.
No rain is forecast for Thursday, so we can expect plenty of points at a raucous Shark Park.
BEST BET: Sharks to win & over 43.5 points ($1.80 with BlueBet)
Melbourne Storm vs. Penrith Panthers prediction, tip, best bet
Things are generally close when the Storm and Panthers face off, and Friday night should be no different.
Penrith are still without star halfback Nathan Cleary but are welcoming back all their other Origin stars this week.
A win will give the reigning premiers some breathing space at the top of the ladder, so there is plenty to play for.
As for Melbourne, they are enjoying a nice run of form themselves, going three games unbeaten for the second time this year.
Whilst their recent win against the Sea Eagles had plenty of highlights, it wasn't entirely convincing, so they may be there for the taking this round.
BEST BET: Panthers to win ($2.00 with BlueBet)
Brisbane Broncos vs. Dolphins prediction, tip, best bet
The Broncos and Dolphins delivered a cracking inaugural derby match earlier this season, with Brisbane winning via a late surge.
For their second encounter, the Broncos are favoured again despite the absence of young fullback Reece Walsh.

It is the Dolphins' defence that could be the deciding factor in this match, with Wayne Bennett's side seriously struggling in recent weeks, letting in a combined 136 points across their last three games.
Sure, Brisbane maybe not be as energetic in attack without Walsh, but they still have the personnel to pile on the points and secure a commanding win.
BEST BET: Broncos to win & over 43.5 points ($2.00 with BlueBet)
Manly Sea Eagles vs. Sydney Roosters prediction, tip, best bet
The Sea Eagles and Roosters are both in dire need of two points on Sunday as they look to push themselves into the top eight.
The two sides - sitting in 13th and 12th, respectively - have underperformed this season, with injuries and on-field chemistry struggles taking their toll.
The return of workhorse Jake Trbojevic is a major boost for Manly, whilst Jason Saab is also a key addition on the wing.
As for the Roosters, the absence of Angus Crichton and Egan Butcher impacts an already injury-ravaged forward pack, so they will face a stern physical test at Brookvale Oval.
We think the Sea Eagles can squeeze out a win in front of their home fans.
BEST BET: Sea Eagles to win ($1.80 with BlueBet)
