Playmaker Ryley Jacks looks to be one victim of the off-season cleanout at the Titans following their dismal 2019 campaign.
Gold Coast finished with the wooden spoon, winning just four games in a disastrous season that claimed the job of coach Garth Brennan.
Justin Holbrook has been confirmed as the coach for the next season, with wholesale changes expected to be made to the roster over summer.

27-year-old halfback Jacks played 13 games for the club in his first season since switching from the Storm, though journalist Pete Badel says it looks like being one and done for him.
"He's been told he's surplus to requirements for the 2020 season," Badel told Sporting News.
"A new era under Justin Holbrook there and Mal Meninga, the culture chief, is starting to clear the decks to get some money under the salary cap to be more aggressive in the player market next season.
"Ryley Jacks is the first victim, he wont be a the Titans next season."
Interestingly, Badel said that the half may be thrown a lifeline by the Raiders.
Canberra have notably not extended the contract of their number seven Aidan Sezer for next season, though his impressive form in recent weeks may secure his future.
"I'm told that Canberra are sniffing around the edges at the moment with Ryley, so if he continues his career in the NRL it may happen at the Raiders," Badel said.
While Jacks will be allowed to depart the Titans, one player they wish to keep but could face a fight to hang on to is outside back Phillip Sami.
The 22-year-old recently showed his value in a chase-down tackle of Storm speedster Josh Addo-Carr and his quality hasn't gone unnoticed around the competition.
Badel said that the Tigers are showing interest in Sami.
"He's now being chased by the Wests Tigers they are currently looking closely at Phillip Sami," he said.
"He's off contract at the end of next year, so the Tigers can't make a formal play for him at the moment but they can express interest, they've done that.
"I'm told from November 1 they will look to formalise an offer for Phillip Sami.
"The Titans face a battle to keep him."
