Rugby league will head to the United States next year, with two fixtures scheduled to take place in Las Vegas at the beginning of the NRL season.

In a huge double-header at Allegiant Stadium, old rivals Manly and South Sydney square off, before last year's grand finalists Brisbane take on the Roosters in Sin City.

Both matches will kick off the start of the campaign, with the remaining six NRL games to take place the following weekend back in Australia.

The Sporting News has all the broadcast details for the Vegas double-header below.

How to watch NRL Las Vegas games in America?

In a major boost for rugby league fans in America, both games will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 in west coast primetime slots on Saturday, March 2nd.

“It’s a pretty big deal for our fans – it’s very exciting for the sport,” NRL boss Andrew Abdo said.

“We’ve previously had NRL games shown on Fox Sports in America – but this will be the first time we’ve had games shown live in primetime on Fox Sports 1.

“To get a game of NRL in primetime in America with our partnership with Fox Sports, getting that promotion in America is huge for us. It gives us exposure and reach for the game to sports-loving Americans.

"We are confident that when they see our product, the NRL is something they will have an interest in following.”

Both games will also be shown on Fox League for Australian viewers and Sky Sports in New Zealand.
