Latrell Mitchell accepts one-game suspension

Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell has accepted a one-game suspension for dangerous contact in Round 25.

With the clock winding down in Newcastle, a brain snap from Mitchell saw him sin-binned for an elbow to the back of Tyson Frizell's head.

The 25-year-old will now miss the side's must-win clash against the Roosters in Round 27, with the Bunnies scheduled for a bye this week.

Jordan Rapana and Matt Burton dodge bans

Raiders back Jordan Rapana will avoid suspension with an early guilty plea for his hit on Viliame Kikau despite his poor judiciary record.

He will need to pay a $3,000 fine or faces a two-match ban if he challenges and is found guilty.

Bulldogs half Matt Burton was also charged with dangerous contact in the same game.

He has been hit with an $1,800 fine with an early guilty plea, or $2,500 if he unsuccessfully disputes the charge.

James Fisher-Harris escapes suspension for hip drop

Panthers enforcer James Fisher-Harris will escape suspension for a hip-drop during Saturday night's victory over the Titans.

The star front-rower was placed on report for a tackle on Jacob Alick and has since been hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge, which will see Fisher-Harris fined $1000 with an early guilty plea.

From the earlier game on Saturday, Dolphins playmaker Sean O'Sullivan will be fined $750 after being hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge for a tackle on Tigers back-rower John Bateman.

Bunty Afoa charged for dangerous contact

The Warriors starting prop would be in the thick of it early being placed on report for a dangerous tackle on Manly's Jake Arthur two minutes into the action.

This is Afoa's first offence of the year and will see him face a $1000 fine he pleads guilty, or a $1500 if he decides to fight the charges and is found guilty.

Cowboys' Valemei charged for high tackle

North Queensland winger Semi Valemei has been fined for a high tackle on Sharks player Connor Tracey.

He will need to pay $750 assuming he accepts the early guilty plea, or $1,000 if he challenges unsuccessfully.
