It has been a fairly quiet weekend for the NRL Judiciary following a shortened round of matches.

Jarrod Wallace dodges ban for high tackle

Dolphins enforcer Jarrod Wallace has avoided a suspension following his high shot on Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui.

It's the second offence on his record, so he will be required to pay a $1,800 fine after taking the early guilty plea.

Taane Milne avoids suspension for high shot

Souths back Taane Milne doesn't have the best record but has avoided a two-game suspension after taking early guilty plea for a high shot on Ryan Sutton in the Rabbitohs' loss to the Bulldogs.

Milne was charged with a grade one careless high tackle and has been hit with a $3,000 penalty.

Shaun Lane trip a costly error

Parramatta backrower Shaun Lane has been fined $750 after taking the early guilty plea over a tripping charge.

Lane was charged with dangerous contact after he stuck a leg out towards Mitch Barnett in the Eels' loss to the Warriors on Saturday.

Starford To'a fined by judiciary for dangerous throw

Tigers centre To'a has been charged $750 for a dangerous throw on Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo.

The 23-year-old tipped Mulitalo into an awkward position, with the referee awarding a penalty to the visitors. 

The incident occurred in the 60th minute of Wests' 12-36 loss to Cronulla, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the ladder.
