Brisbane Broncos (Yuggera & Turrbal)

Broncos star Selwyn Cobbo has worked with fellow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teammates to create a jersey alongside artist Casey Coolwell-Fisher.

The jersey was launched in the winger's hometown of Cherbourg.

“It’s pretty special you know, being able to wear this jersey and be a young leader,” Cobbo said.

“Being able to bring that down to Brisbane and try and be a leader for the club and many other communities is really important.”

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (Dharug, Bidjigal/Bediagal)

The Bulldogs' jersey has been designed by Bundjalung artist Pam Brandy Hall.

Titled “Ngihr Gawahny", it has drawn direct inspiration from the Rainbow Serpent, which is the story of the creation of waterways.

Cronulla Sharks (Dharawal & Gweagal)

The Sharks' 2023 jersey intends to reflect the Gweagal peoples, Kurnell, connected families and local communities.

Designed by Aboriginal artist Jordan Ardler, it features vivid imagery of the ocean and fires.

Dolphins (Turrbal, Yuggera, Ningy Ningy & Kabi Kabi)

The stories of buangan (dolphins) are at the heart of the Dolphins' indigenous jersey.

Created by Sunshine Coast artist Lyndon Davis, the design will remain for the next three seasons.

Gold Coast Titans (Yugambeh)

The Titans' vibrant jersey tells the story of the club's past, future and the people it represents in three distinct sections.

It was designed by Narelle Urquhart, a Wiradjuri woman with connections into the Bundjalung Nation.

Manly Sea Eagles (Cammeraygal / Gayamaygal & Garigal)

Manly's jersey artwork involves three circular layers of tree roots gathering in a central ring, symbolising coming together for Indigenous round.

Aleta Wassell - a proud Aboriginal woman with ancestral ties to the Darkinjung people - has crafted the intricate design.

Melbourne Storm (Wurundjeri)

Shanai Kellett - an artist and educator of Yorta Yorta/Juru descent - has designed Melbourne's jersey for Indigenous Round.

Titled 'Resilience', it features a central ‘meeting place’ design that branches out to the Storm’s four Indigenous players - Reimis Smith, Jordan Grant, Ammaron Gudgeon and Seamus King-Smith.

New Zealand Warriors (Aotearoa)

The Warriors' Indigenous jersey features a red feathered cloak, inspired by the Amokura bird, a symbol of unity and hope.

While the blue, green and red sections represent the Pacific Ocean, flaura and blood.

Newcastle Knights (Awabakal)

The Knights' Indigenous jersey has been described as "a tribute to the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Newcastle, Hunter Valley and surrounding region".

Designed by Gerard Black, the jersey will be worn when they face the Sharks in Cronulla.

North Queensland Cowboys (Wulgurukaba & Bindal)

Lardil woman and Mornington Island artist Renee Wilson has created the Cowboys’ 2023 Indigenous design.

Parramatta Eels (Dharug & Burramattagal)

Parramatta's 2023 Indigenous jersey has been created by Sean Kinchela.

The design intends to "acknowledge the Burramattagal people and language, the beautiful winding rivers, mountains, the bush lands and, importantly, its wildlife across Dharug country".

Penrith Panthers (Dharug)

Penrith's jersey notably sees the club colours on the sleeves replaced with the colours from both the Australian Aboriginal and the Torres Strait Islander flags.

It was designed in a collaboration between artist Natasha Fordham and the club's Indigenous wellbeing officer Glen Liddiard.

South Sydney Rabbitohs (Eora & Gadigal)

‘For Our Elders’ is the Rabbitohs' jersey theme for 2023, which acknowledges "the importance of passing knowledge on to future generations".

St. George Illawarra Dragons (Dharawal & Yuin)

The Dragons held a competition to design their 2023 Indigenous jersey.

Zoe Raymond’s artwork titled 'Stand Your Ground' was selected as the winner, which focuses on the story of Bidjigal warrior Pemulwuy.

Sydney Roosters (Eora & Gadigal)

The Roosters will honour rugby league legend Arthur Beetson with their 2023 Indigenous jersey.

Designed by Beetson's niece Bianca, it represents the “full circle” of the Immortal’s life.
