When does daylight saving start?
Daylight saving came into effect for residents of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory at 2:00 am AEST on Sunday, October 6 — the same day as the NRL grand final.
Clocks weren't advanced in Queensland, the Northern Territory or Western Australia, with daylight saving not observed in those states and territories.
