We've officially reached the NRL finals for season 2024.

NRL grand final date: When is 2024 decider?

The NRL and NRLW deciders will once again be hosted at Accor Stadium on Sunday, October 6.

Finals footy will commence on Friday, September 13, with three weeks of action before the grand final.

The Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) and New South Wales Government reached an agreement to keep the showpiece event in Sydney earlier in the year.

"Confirming the 2024 Grand Final will be held in Sydney provides certainty to NRL clubs, sponsors and broadcasters, but most importantly of all, it’s exciting news for NRL fans," ARLC chair Peter V’landys said.

"The NRL and NRLW premiership seasons will culminate at Accor Stadium on 6 October, and we can’t wait to watch it unfold."

How to buy NRL and NRLW 2024 grand final tickets

Tickets for the NRL and NRLW grand finals go went on sale in August to the general public, with prices starting from $59 for adults and $189 for families.

"The race to the Finals is a close as ever, and the season is now set up for an exciting final six weeks of the home and away season, all leading to the Grand Final at Accor Stadium on the October long weekend," NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said.

"The Telstra Women’s Premiership is off to a fast start after an historic, record-breaking Ampol State of Origin series, and last year’s epic NRLW Grand Final decider.

"Grand Final day is always a special event, showcasing the best teams from the Telstra NRL and NRLW Premierships, bringing together fans from across the country and overseas."

Who won the NRL and NRLW grand finals last year?

The 2024 deciders will have plenty to live up to after stellar games in last year’s grand finals.

The Knights claimed their second-straight title in the NRLW after recording a 24-18 victory over the Gold Coast Titans.

Meanwhile, Nathan Cleary wrote his name into rugby league folklore with a brilliant display in the closing stages to spark the Panthers' dramatic comeback win over the Broncos in front of 81,947 fans.
