Old rivals Parramatta and Manly will go to battle to kick off Round 3 of the NRL season, in what promises to be an entertaining and spiteful affair.

After losing back-to-back games to start their campaign, the Eels will be looking to bounce back and earn a crucial two points just a day after head coach Brad Arthur earned a contract extension.

For the Sea Eagles, they started the year in brilliant fashion with a 31-6 win over Canterbury, before gaining another two points with a bye in Round 2.

The match between the Sea Eagles and Eels will begin at 8pm AEDT from BlueBet Stadium in Penrith.
