Parramatta and Melbourne will kick off the 2023 season on Thursday night, with the two competition heavyweights hoping to grab a crucial two points.
After making the grand final last year, the Eels will be forced into a plethora of changes following the departures of Isaiah Papali'i and Reed Mahoney.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy will also be without some big names from last season, with the likes of Jesse Bromwich and Brandon Smith moving clubs, while star fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen remains sidelined with a knee injury.
The match between the Eels and Storm will begin at 8pm AEDT from CommBank Stadium in Sydney.
