Penrith will host the under-fire Roosters in a huge blockbuster clash on Friday night, with both sides desperate to remain in the top-four hunt.

Fresh off a gritty win over the Warriors at Magic Round, the reigning premiers will look to produce a more convincing effort and could potentially welcome back second-rower Liam Martin from injury.

For the Roosters, their shock loss to the Cowboys has led to plenty of questions and criticism, especially with young playmaker Sam Walker still out of the side.

The match between the Panthers and Roosters will begin at 8pm AEST from BlueBet Stadium in Penrith.
