Panthers co-captain Isaah Yeo has re-signed for a further three years, keeping him at the club until at least the end of the 2027 NRL season.

The two-time premiership winner has cemented himself as the game's best lock-forward and leader in recent years, helping Penrith to back-to-back titles and representing both NSW and Australia.

Yeo will join fellow skipper Nathan Cleary in extending his stay at the foot of the Mountains, with the star halfback also inking a long-term deal last year.

The 28-year-old was excited to announce his future, just days out from his 200th NRL appearance.

“I couldn’t be prouder to re-sign with the club and I’m excited to see what we will achieve over the next few years,” Yeo said.

“I’m obviously over the moon. I’ve called the club home since I was 17 years old. To secure my future here until 2027 is something I couldn’t be prouder of.

“I have a young family and we all get to grow up in the area. My fiancé, Ash, is from Penrith and we’re proud to call this place home.”

Yeo moved to the Panthers as a teenager from Dubbo and made an immediate name for himself due to his tenacity, work ethic and versatility early in his career.

Head coach Ivan Cleary was full of praise for the popular leader upon news of his commitment to the club.

"This will be an extremely popular re-signing for Panthers," he said.

“Isaah has a huge influence on the team through his own elite level performance, total commitment as a team player, and also tremendous leadership on and off the field.

"These qualities make him a unique talent that we are very fortunate to have for years to come.”

How long did Isaah Yeo re-sign for?

Panthers co-captain Isaah Yeo has inked a three-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of 2027.

The NSW and Australian lock-forward was already signed until the end of 2024, but the news of his extension will be a major boost for the club long-term.

Having lost the likes of Viliame Kikau and Spencer Leniu to rival clubs, Yeo has opted to remain loyal and will lead the premiership powerhouse for years to come.

How many games has Isaah Yeo played?

Isaah Yeo will bring up his 200th NRL appearance in Round 5 against the Raiders.

The Dubbo product moved to the club as a teenager and made his first grade debut in 2014.

Yeo has played 199 games to date, as well as making eight appearances for NSW and five for Australia.

Who is the Panthers captain?

Penrith have gone with a co-captaincy mould for the past two years, with both Isaah Yeo and Nathan Cleary holding the position.
