UPDATE: Tesi Niu has been fined $400 along with suspended from driving for six months after appearing in court on Friday.
Niu was sanctioned after being charged with driving without a qualified licence.
Broncos interim CEO Neil Monaghan confirmed that they will continue to work with the NRL Integrity Unit.
“We all make mistakes but we expect better from our players and Tesi knows he has done the wrong thing,” said Monaghan.
“Road safety is a very important issue across our community and everyone at the club needs to respect that and obey the laws.”

Brisbane Broncos centre Tesi Niu will face court on Friday after being charged with unlicensed driving.
The 19-year-old was slated to slot into the centres after his debut season for the Broncos, playing six games in 2020.
However, this has been thrown into jeopardy with Niu set to appear in court after being charged with driving without a licence.
This was confirmed by the club in a statement on Thursday.
"Brisbane Broncos player Tesi Niu will appear in court tomorrow on a driving offence," they said.
"He informed the club that he has been charged with unlicensed driving due to demerit points.
"The Club has made the NRL Integrity Unit aware of the issue.
"No further comment will be made until after the court process has been finalised."

Niu represented Tonga Invitational during the 2019 Great Britain tour as an 18-year-old, making his international debut in the halves as they defeated the Lions 14-6.
This comes less than 24 hours after the NRL Integrity Unit reportedly launched an investigation into an alleged altercation involving assistant coach John Cartwright and club legend Chris Johns.
It is another unwanted distraction for Walters just eight days out from his first regular-season game in charge of the Broncos against the Eels.
Star Broncos forward Payne Haas will be missing from the game, copping a three matches suspension and a $50,000 fine after he verbally abused police officers in January.
Haas escaped a criminal conviction but was placed on a two-year good behaviour bond after pleading guilty to two counts of intimidating police.
Star centre Kotoni Staggs was last month also fined $10,000 by the NRL for his role in an incident in a Dubbo pub in November.
