He's only been in the top job for a short time - but ARL Commission boss Peter V'landys is already stamping his mark, with major rule changes expected to be announced on Friday.
The man largely responsible for the rise of Sydney racing took over from Peter Beattie earlier this year, and is set to bring in a couple of new rules to the NRL for the 2020 season.
The 20/40 will come into effect for 2020, which has been trialled in the Nines format previously.

And despite the cards being close to V'landys chest at the moment, senior rugby league reporter Andrew Webster revealed that the a new golden point rule will also be announced.
“He held his second commission meeting yesterday. He is determined to plug the leak – but I think that the 20/40 rule will be introduced," he told Big Sports Breakfast.
"The other will be golden point, where even if the team loses, they will get a point.
"Beyond that, I’m not entirely sure because he is very strong on things not being leaked before the commission announce it."
It was also reported on Thursday that V'landys is tossing up the idea of changing the NRL from halves to quarters to increase advertising revenue.

It would be a move that would anger a large portion of league fans, the commission have discussed the change heading into the next TV rights deal.
“They are definitely looking at it," Webster said.
"I’m sure it was discussed yesterday, and I think V’landys thing is getting the most out of the next TV deal.
"One of the ideas he wants investigated is whether four quarters will give the broadcasters more advertising space.
"I have to say, it was hounded down by a lot of people so I don’t know if its going to happen."
