Rugby league legend Mark Geyer has lashed out at rugby league's international rankings system after New Zealand were elevated to the number one team in the world this week.
The Kiwis leapfrogged Australia, who remain in second spot on the rankings.
England are third, with Tonga on equal footing with Fiji.
None of it makes sense to MG.
"Really? How? How are New Zealand the number one nation in rugby league in the world when Australia beat them by 30 points," Geyer asked on The Rush Hour with MG.

"I know New Zealand beat Great Britain. But Papua New Guinea beat Great Britan.
"Tonga beat Australia and Great Britain - they're number one.
"Tonga are number one in the world."
Geyer used tennis as an example to show why rankings system was off.
"What are rankings about? Let's take tennis," he said.
"If you're number two in the world and I'm number five, and I beat you. Do I go above you? I go close to it.
"What if I'm number three in the world and you're number two?
"So, how do New Zealand - when Australia beat them by so much - go to number one?
"Is it because RTS is the best player in the world?"
MG echoed the thoughts of many confused fans when he questioned how the rankings are determined.
"Australia are the best nation in the world, but Tonga beat Australia,"
"Tonga are in fourth, that's worse. England are third and they should be eighth.
"I can't believe that. Do they do it on ranking points, or does someone say 'you know what, Kiwis, here's a ladder, climb the ladder to success.'"
