Brisbane Broncos forward Josh McGuire has been charged for an incident that occured late in his side's 16-point defeat at the hands of the Storm on Sunday, but will escape suspension.
McGuire was charged with a grade-one minor contrary conduct charge for stomping on the foot of Melbourne big man Tim Glasby in the 78th minute of the game.
The 28-year-old was hit with a $1500 fine which will be reduced to $1100 with an early guilty plea on the back of his clean record.
It means McGuire will have to tread on thin ice ahead of Queensland's second State of Origin clash with the Blues on June 24.

The lock-forward is also free to travel south to play against Cronulla in his team's round 15 clash on Saturday.
The Broncos hard nut, who was jokingly described by Phil Gould on Channel Nine's Sunday Football as "not liking people," has played 185 games for the club and nine matches for the Maroons.
McGuire's teammate Tevita Pangai junior was not charged after being placed on report for a tackle on Melbourne's Nelson Asofa-Solomona in the second half.
In other judiciary news, Gold Coast Titans prop Jarrod Wallace will miss his side's round 15 clash against the Bulldogs after taking the early guilty plea for a dangerous contact charge.
The suspension isn't ideal for Wallace, who put in a lacklustre performance in the first Origin match, casting doubts over whether he will be selected for game two - as the clash at Belmore would have been his last chance to show Kevin Walters why he should maintain his spot.
Canberra forward Charlie Gubb has also elected to take the guilty plea for a dangerous contact charge and will miss one match.
