Josh Addo-Carr’s days at Canterbury appear to be numbered as the Bulldogs continue to deal with the aftermath of his failed roadside drug tests that resulted in a breach notice being issued by the NRL.
The former Australia and New South Wales winger missed out on the Dogs’ return to finals footy after he stood himself down as the incident blew up on the eve of their elimination final against Manly.
Phil Gould was non-committal on whether Addo-Carr had played his last game for the club when he was initially asked if he would be axed if the second sample came back positive.
But since this sample came back positive for traces of cocaine, questions around his future at Belmore have rumbled away.

Andrew Johns floats shock Rabbitohs move for Josh Addo-Carr
Despite still maintaining his innocence and denying taking illicit drugs, the NRL hit Addo-Carr with a breach notice earlier in the week for "engaging in conduct which is against the law" and bringing the game into disrepute.
The veteran is tied to the club for one more season, although it is believed the Dogs will now not stand in his way if he is offered another deal elsewhere.
The Bulldogs will reportedly grant the winger an early release from his deal, if a suitable offer is tabled.
St George Illawarra have already been linked but a proposed swap deal involving Mikaele Ravalawa failed to materialise.

However, Andrew Johns has highlighted how South Sydney could be the ideal landing place for Addo-Carr to try and resurrect his career in 2025 under Wayne Bennett.
"I'd like to see him go to the Rabbitohs," Johns said on Freddy and The Eighth.
"Their outside backs are Taane Milne, Tyrone Munro and Alex Johnston, but he ruptured his Achilles.
"I think he would fit in with the Indigenous [community]. It would be nice to see him go to the Bunnies. He'd be a really good fit."
