Sydney Roosters duo Jess Sergis and Tarryn Aiken have both re-signed with the club, giving the NRLW powerhouse a major long-term boost in the process.

After falling short of a grand final appearance in 2023, the latest contract extensions will allow the Tricolours' marquee star to remain at the helm and continue to keep their premiership window wide open.

Sergis - regarded as one of the best female players in the world - has inked a bumper four-year extension with the Roosters, while star halfback Aiken has committed for a further two seasons after a strong campaign.

The pair will join the likes of Millie Boyle and Isabelle Kelly in securing their long-term future at Bondi.

In a statement released on Monday morning, Sergis expressed her excitement regarding the new deal and believes there is a bright future for the Chooks.

“There’s such a good feeling at the club and whether its at training or on the footy field, everyone’s committed to pushing to get the best out of themselves,” she said.

“I’m a Rooster through and through so I’m stoked to know that I’ll be here for at least the next four years."

Aiken's new deal will see her stay at the Roosters until the end of 2025 and caps off a remarkable year, with the playmaker finishing as the runner-up for the Dally M Medal and representing the Jillaroos.

“I really enjoyed my first year as a Rooster," she said.

"I know that there’s a lot more improvement in me as a player and us as a team, so I’m excited about what’s to come over the next few years."

NRLW head coach John Strange applauded both women following the news of their extensions.

"Tarryn and Jess are among the most talented and committed athletes in the NRLW," he said.

"Their decision to extend their contracts with the Sydney Roosters is a testament to the club's culture and our shared ambition for success.

“It’s exciting to know that they will continue to be part of the team we have here in the coming years."
