Jarryd Hayne has won the right to give evidence in Australia for his US civil case after reaching an agreement with an American woman accusing him of rape.
Hayne's rape accuser was challenging to fly the former Parramatta star to California to face her lawyers and put an end to the case, however News Corp reports Hayne will now be deposed in his home country.
The woman, who goes by the alias JV, claims she was abstaining from sex until marriage until Hayne allegedly had interactions with her during his time in America with the San Francisco 49ers in 2015.

Police did not have enough evidence to prosecute Hayne but the victim is chasing monetary damages in civil court.
She said Hayne forced himself on her when she was heavily intoxicated and she woke up in a "pool of blood" with "significant vaginal pain."
Hayne argues that JV "consented to all actions that took place, including all actions she now claims were non-consensual'', in an earlier statement from his lawyer.
The 31-year-old is also facing separate sexual assault allegations in Australia, accused of biting a woman in the Hunter Valley on the night of the 2018 NRL grand final.
He was subsequently charged with aggravated sexual assault and inflicting actual bodily harm and was forced to pay a $20,000 surety after being granted bail.
Hayne maintains his innocence in both cases and will return to court on April 3.
Hayne is still required to report to Castle Hill Police Station three times per week as part of his bail conditions.
