Broncos hooker James Segeyaro reportedly won't be sacked after he was caught drink-driving on the weekend.
Segeyaro, who has only been at the club for a matter of weeks, reportedly registered a blood alcohol reading of 0.05 on Monday morning.
P-platers must return a meeting of zero to be considered under the limit.
According to Courier Mail journalist Peter Badel, the Broncos won't cut the 28-year-old loose, though they are working with the NRL Integrity Unit to determine a sanction.
It's been a drama-filled few weeks at the club for the journeyman.
While uncontracted and working as a barista at Jason Nightingale's cafe, he was unexpectedly thrown a lifeline by the Broncos following a training injury to Andrew McCullough.
He endeared himself to the Broncos faithful when he scored the match-winner against the reigning premier Roosters on his debut.
Reports then emerged that claimed his registration process hadn't been completed prior to that match.
The NRL however disputed those claims, confirming that Brisbane would hold onto their two competition points from the match.
It's not yet clear whether Segeyaro will be suspended for any NRL matches.
The Broncos' next match sees them host the Titans at Suncorp Stadium on June 9.
