It's hard to win one NRL premiership, but to win four is near-unheard off - unless your name is Ivan Cleary.
The legendary Panthers coach is coming fresh off a fourth-straight title, and it seems that his Penrith dynasty is far from done.
But he might be, with Cleary mulling over his future as an NRL head coach.
Ivan Cleary considers shock retirement
After coaching Penrith to five straight grand final, winning the last four, Cleary arguably has the strongest job security in the entire league.
But according to the coach, he doesn't necessarily see himself leading the team into his twilight years.
"I’m not going to be coaching at Wayne Bennett’s age, I’ll be lucky if I’m alive at that age," Cleary said on the Straight Talk podcast.
"I don’t know, honestly. I’m contracted for another three years and at the moment, that’s good enough for me.
"I just can’t see myself being one of those guys that’s in my 60s or late 70s, still going through this rollercoaster.
"I want to be sitting back having a beer in the stand, mate.
"It’s a lifestyle; it’s more than a a job, you live it, and from week to week, depending on how the game goes, it can dictate how your life’s going.
"It’s not just you; it’s your family, it’s your wife, your kids. But that’s what you put your hand up for and that’s the addictive part of it as well.
"Every time you have a loss or you’re not going well, as a coach, you always feel like there’s something good around the next corner.
"I’m a bit of a realist but also I guess I have enough confidence in myself and the team and the people that work for you that, if we’re not getting it right now, we will eventually get it right.
"But there have been plenty of dark times."
