Isaiah Tass has signed a three-year extension to remain at South Sydney ahead of Wayne Bennett’s arrival at the club.
The centre was set to be a free agent on November 1, but the Rabbitohs finally moved to lock down his services until at least the end of the 2027 campaign.
"Tassy has shown he has what it takes to be a consistent performer at NRL level and we’re very happy to be extending his contract," the club’s Head of Football, Mark Ellison, said.
"We’re delighted to have Tassy remaining in South Sydney colours and we look forward to continuing our work with him now and into the future."

Isaiah Tass re-signs with South Sydney ahead of Bennett's return
Tass experienced a frustrating season in 2024 with Jack Wighton claiming his former position in the backline before a serious ankle injury then brought a premature end to his campaign.
The 25-year-old finished with just eight appearances for the year after previously playing a major role for the Bunnies in the two previous seasons.
Tass is sure to face considerable competition for a spot in the centres next year with Wighton expected to return to the position after slotting into the halves alongside Cody Walker during the second half of the season.
The former Australia and New South Wales representative started the campaign in the No.3 jersey, which Tass previously held after debuting in 2022.

Meanwhile, Campbell Graham did not feature at all this year but will return next season to reclaim his spot in the centres that Taane Milne won under Jason Demetriou and then interim coach Ben Hornby.
The news of Tass’ re-signing comes after the club extended Shaquai Mitchell and Ben Lovett on one-year deals.
The trio will provide much-needed depth in the roster as the Bunnies will attempt to recover from a horror period that has resulted in plenty of upheaval at Redfern.
Stalwarts Damien Cook and Tom Burgess have left, while seven fringe players weren’t offered fresh terms ahead of Bennett’s arrival.
