Who designs the NRL premiership ring?
Sydney-based company Affinity Diamonds have provided the rings for every NRL decider since 2015.
They also supply medals, including the Clive Churchill and Dally M medals.
Each year, a 'guest designer' is brought on board to customise the premiership ring.
Anthony Albanese had the honour last year, while the likes of former NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller and legendary commentator Ray Warren have previously helped with the design.
Recently inducted Immortal Ron Coote has been selected for 2024.
In an NRL first, Coote will also be gifted his own version of the ring to acknowledge his Immortal status, It is also being done as a gesture following a fire at his Lake Conjola home, which destroyed memorabilia from his career.
How much does an NRL premiership ring cost?
Affinity Diamonds have not disclosed the cost of the 2024 premiership ring.
However, according to The Daily Telegraph, this year's ring is valued at AU$10,000.
It is encrusted with two carats of diamonds on either side and features an image of a young Coote.
Which players receive a premiership ring?
In recent years, only the 17 players named in the winning matchday team and the head coach have received a ring.
Speaking to Wide World of Sports last year, Affinity founder Sam Rahme said the rings are purposely numbered 1 to 17, as he does not want to see club officials or executives with a ring.
"Being on the coaching staff as I was at the Sea Eagles, I'd see some club directors wearing the ring. I thought it was wrong," he said.
"If you don't have a number 1 to 17, you didn't play."
