Should the Dragons give up on 2023?

After a fourth-straight loss at the hands of the under-strength Bulldogs, many have called for the Dragons to immediately part ways with Anthony Griffin and look towards building for 2024.

But with so much time left in the year to turn things around, we discuss whether or not it's worth changing things on the field first and foremost before changing the coaching staff.

Does the NRL need to introduce a draft? 

Jack Wighton's move to South Sydney has set in motion plenty of discussion surrounding the NRL's current transfer system, which has been exposed as "amateur" once again.

But calls for a potential draft, just around the same time as NFL franchises hand college footballers their dreams, may be a little bit too much for rugby league.

Do the Sea Eagles need to cut ties with Josh Schuster? 

Manly young gun Josh Schuster is on the outer with the club, as concerns over his fitness and commitment have been raised following his latest injury setback.

The five-eighth is on a $800,000 salary and is spending more time off the field than on it this year, leading to calls for the club to move him on and look in a new direction.

Are the Broncos pretenders or contenders? 

Following a humbling defeat at the hands of South Sydney in Round 9, there has been chatter on social media that Brisbane are perhaps not genuine premiership contenders this season.

But with Payne Haas and Ezra Mam on the sidelines for the clash, is it worth reading too much into it?
