Round 21 provided some major talking points, with two veteran enforcers lucky not to be sent off for ugly incidents, while the likes of South Sydney and Melbourne struggled. 

Elsewhere, the headlines surrounding Payne Haas and his contract value have continued, with the Broncos powerhouse set to test the open market on November 1st.

Is the send off dead in the NRL? 

A week after Reagan Campbell-Gillard's nasty incident against the Titans, there's been even more conjecture surrounding the officiating in Round 21.

Martin Taupau and Tariq Sims are both facing multiple weeks on the sidelines, but the decision for both men to only receive 10 minutes in the bin were highly questionable.

Does Payne Haas deserve to be paid $1 million? 

Payne Haas is set to test the NRL open market at the end of this season, with the Brisbane front-rower expected to attract plenty of rich offers across the league.

And while his position on the field could limit his earning power in some people's eyes, the 23-year-old is an anomaly and could become the highest-paid forward in the competition.

Should the Dragons release Jayden Sullivan?

Another week, another headline involving the struggling Dragons.

Young gun playmaker Jayden Sullivan has reportedly been told he can negotiate with rival clubs, leading to plenty of debate around the long-term halves situation at St George Illawarra under incoming head coach Shane Flanagan.

Can the Melbourne Storm win the NRL premiership? 

After a shock defeat at the hands of Newcastle, questions are started to be asked about Melbourne's premiership credentials this season.

The side lost plenty of experience heading into the season, and while they have flown under the radar, there's reason to believe they face an uphill battle come September.
