A resurgent yet injury-riddled Parramatta outfit will look to push closer towards the top-eight when they host North Queensland on Friday night.

The hosts are coming off an upset win over ladder-leaders South Sydney, but will be without star forwards Junior Paulo and Ryan Matterson.

For the Cowboys, their embarrassing loss to the Tigers has been compounded by the absence of four key players due to State of Origin commitments.

The match between the Eels and Cowboys will begin at 8pm AEST from CommBank Stadium in Sydney.
